Privacy and SecuritySecurity Statement

At First National Bank we understand the importance of customer security. We are committed to protecting your confidential information. That is why it is one of our top priorities.

Account Security

  • Do not share your account numbers, user ID and passwords with anyone. Each individual should have their own user ID and password. When logging on you will never be required to enter an account number or any other information that pertains to that account.
  • Store new and cancelled checks and any other documents that contain your account number in a safe place or make sure that they are disposed of properly.
  • We require all browsers that are used to access account information to have 128-bit encryption. Use of 128-encryption technology is one of the most secure forms of encryption currently available on the Internet.
  • When banking or shopping online it is recommended that you have the latest security features to provide the safest web site performance.
  • Protect your computer by using anti-virus software and firewalls. Be sure to keep your computer security up-to-date by evaluating your settings and security levels frequently.
  • When viewing account information online, completely log off the session you leave. This is extremely important when using a public computer to prevent viewing by others.
  • Our customers are protected when banking online as we only display the last four digits of their account number.
